On Monday 21st June and Tuesday 22nd June, Jamie Sargent – our Sales manager was able to attend The Outdoor Trade Show and get to meet customers and other suppliers. Find out how he got on below!
J : Being able to meet people! Both existing and potential customers, it was also interesting to be able to speak with other buckle suppliers and discuss innovation.
I was appointed into the role in November 2020. This means I have not had a chance to explore the market or go to a trade show. This was my first opportunity to have the chance. Now with everything gradually opening back up, I am hoping to be able to get out there. Meeting with our valued customers at future trade shows and businesses.
J : Supply Chain – How are we finding supply, what problems are we anticipating and how are we managing them?
We are lucky that we have managed to keep everything running despite extended lead times. working with our customers and our suppliers equally have made this possible.
The raw material shortages that have been impacting manufacturing are something that we have been keeping a close eye on. Orders are already in place for significant stock levels. ACE are also holding a higher stock quantity that we have ever held. This means that we can still supply to you, our customers.
J : Product development – This year, we have had chance to really look at how our assemblies could benefit a whole range of markets. This includes how our existing STRAPLINE parts could be used in a variety of ways as well as brand new products. This includes improving our webbing and RIPFAST ranges as well as brand new designs of buckles—including magnetic! Watch our social medias and website for future announcements of exciting designs.
