ITW Super strong Plus Side Release – Enhanced SS40

Super strong plus side release buckle in black with a red Button, nylon/glass fibre material. Available in 40mm, suitable for 38mm webbing strap. Designed to meet ISO 12402 and SOLAS approved. Typical Applications: Marine, Mobile Equipment.

The SS440 is an enhanced version of the ITW SS-40 model, designed to meet the demanding tests for inflatable lifejackets. It is capable of withstanding the same tests as the SS-40 but with superior strength and durability. The SS440 is suitable for use with up to 40mm width webbing and is made from high-carbon-chromium 400 series martensitic stainless steel, which offers excellent wear resistance and high hardness after heat treatment. This makes the SS440 ideal for applications requiring extreme impact resistance and high durability.
