Our UK‑manufactured Commercial Grade Shock Cord, also known as Bungee Cord, is produced with a tough polypropylene braided outer cover surrounding a high‑quality natural rubber core. This construction delivers excellent elasticity combined with long‑lasting wear resistance, making it ideal for both everyday and outdoor use.

Polypropylene is widely used in premium bungee cord because of its naturally water‑repellent and quick‑drying properties. It does not absorb moisture, which helps prevent rot and mildew, and it retains its strength even when exposed to rain, splashes, or damp environments. Polypropylene fibres also offer good UV stability, helping the cord maintain colour and performance when used outdoors for extended periods.

The natural rubber core provides reliable stretch and recovery, allowing the cord to maintain tension through repeated use without losing elasticity.
